In recognition of Glioblastoma Awareness Day held this year on 17 July 2024, the FRINGE Project is launching a comprehensive campaign to raise awareness about one of the most aggressive and challenging brain cancers, while spotlighting groundbreaking research aimed at developing innovative treatments.
Glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) is known for its rapid progression and resistance to conventional therapies, leaving patients with limited treatment options and poor prognoses. The FRINGE Project, an EU-funded initiative, is striving to change this narrative by pioneering a novel approach to cancer therapy that combines the benefits of photomedical and neutron-based treatments.
To mark this important day, FRINGE is rolling out a series of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) on social media, providing clear and concise information about their work, its potential impact, and the science behind their innovative therapies.
Through this campaign, FRINGE aims to educate the public, foster community support, and highlight the importance of innovative research in the fight against glioblastoma. By bringing attention to this critical issue, FRINGE hopes to inspire action and funding to continue their vital work. Follow us on X (Twitter) or LinkedIn for further updates.
